This is the website for Springwater Church. Whether you are a member of the church, one of our visitors or have just stumbled across our page we hope you will find content of interest to you. Jesus said “ Let the children come to Me..for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.” At Springwater we invest a great deal in the children’s ministries and offer a baby creche and Junior Church for all ages on Sunday morning; and the Ark for toddlers aged 1 - 3 and their carers on Wednesday and Friday mornings.
A youth group meets at week-ends for fun and study. Our church is based in the village of Peppard, adjoining Sonning Common, in Oxfordshire and we have an active membership across a spectrum of ages.
Together we share the desire to be a community of people dedicated to God who proclaim Jesus Christ as Truth, in all aspects of our lives and throughout our community. Dive in and enjoy!

Company description
Our vision is to become a radical (meaning "from the root") church relevant to contemporary society. We do this by working towards our mission of "Proclaiming Jesus as Truth" in all aspects of life, both within the church and to the outside world.

Our church is structured to achieve this goal, according to the Ephesians 4 ministries: Apostolic, Prophetic, Teaching, Evangelistic and Pastoral.
We believe in God as a Trinity of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is believed the Jesus Christ is the Son of God, who has uniquely revealed to humanity as much of His nature as they are able to accept. It is held that Jesus died on the cross to reveal fully the length to which the love of God goes, and that he rose from the tomb on the third day after his crucifixion.

By His death on the cross, it is held that full atonement is made for the sins of humankind. God accepts that sacrifice and is willing to forgive us.

We believe that the Holy Spirit is powerfully available to those who place their trust in God, and that He is present in worship and witness.
The Church was founded in 1795 under the name of Providence Chapel, which later became Peppard Congregational Church.
